NIKE X GURLS TALK
After watching the Dream Higher doccie I came across a kit by Gurls Talk and Nike. it's a fresh all-black kit with white fire typography on the front. I'm a fan of wild typography so seeing that on a football shirt at first glance gives me all sorts of joy. It's pretty wild and stands out as a football kit even though it doesn't belong to any official football club, I can see Orlando Pirates with something like this.
During this process, I've also learned a lot about Adwoa Aboah and her contributions not just to football but to women in general from mental issues to overcoming image perceptions. Adwoa has built a platform for mental health awareness, Gurls Talk. It's an incredible space to view or be part of.
I guess nothing could go wrong when football meets an icon like Adwoa. It's a dope collaboration for brands committed to changing the world of sport for women and all.
