The 1992 Bafana
FIFA Inaugural Jersey.

Bafana Bafana started competing in international football after the end of apartheid in the early 90’s. The team was readmitted to international football by FIFA in 1992, to put pressure on the apartheid regime and to mark an end of the country’s sporting isolation.
This jersey means a lot to us because it was the jersey Bafana used to play their first international match after readmission took place in July 7, 1992 against Cameroon.
